My Mission…
I have a love for the odd, the eerie, and the unexplainable. I want to shed light on the hidden corners of our imagination, the place we think only exists when we dream. In exploring the darkest shadows of our mind, I want to expose us to the darkness so that we may find the peace we need to travel to the light.
About…
I thought I wanted to do musical theater. I grew up doing it, and I absolutely love singing. Well, I still sing, but my interests have… evolved. While I grew up with musical theater, I was also raised with the love of creation and story telling. My father, Steven Goldmann, was a storyteller in his life, and married a woman whose first date was seeing a double feature of Re-Animator and From Beyond.
Being surrounded by the love for the quirky, the unusual, the scary, and the encouragement to embrace my imagination, It began to occur to me that musical theater just wasn’t going to cut it. It’s a very limiting medium, and didn’t allow me to express myself the way I wanted to. And something else was looming over me, something that musical theater couldn’t help me cope with: my father’s illness and his forgotten dreams.
He died when I was 19, leaving a lot of unfinished business and difficult emotions in his wake. But one thing was certainly clear to me: I needed to finish what my dad started, and then some.
So here I am now: musical theater kid to sci-fi/horror lover. Creator of stories, and owner of big goals to shake up the TV/film industries the way my father was not able to. And I couldn’t be more ready.
